“Wien leuchtet” – RFID technology for Viennese street lighting

MA 33, which is responsible for street lighting in Vienna, among other things, is supplied by us with rugged RFID tags for equipping the luminaires.

The data stored on the RFID transponders can be easily retrieved by the maintenance technician with one of the RFID readers supplied by us, even from a greater distance or height, and entered into the specially developed maintenance system via Bluetooth.

In this way, various processes can be carried out, information retrieved and maintenance work planned and processed in an uncomplicated manner, regardless of location.
